Poloriz is bringing social media and storytelling to the forefront of your store by creating the “Instagram stories look and feel” of vertical videos and photo stories, and dynamically displaying them directly on your website to the right customers at the right time to increase conversion rate and product discoverability.
The process works with your existing product catalog. Their algorithm automatically identifies the type of images you have and “video-fies” them by turning a static image into a short video clip with some additional functionality such as having the product name and price right in the video clip. Alternatively from creating short video clips, they can also pull content from social media or use your pre-existing content assets.
From the user's perspective, they come to the site, typically it’s only used for the mobile experience, but there is a toggle to display on desktops as well… The user clicks on an icon at the top of the screen, goes to the story, and can swipe up to go directly to the product detail page.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Poloriz is not a standard personalization platform. They are focused completely on visual storytelling and bringing that social media experience onto your website, where they have proven to increase conversion rate and revenue.
There are other tools that may display content on the site in a similar way, but Poloriz is personalizing this experience, which is a huge conversion rate boost, and they are creating the content themselves, which is huge for your team, especially for teams that have constantly changing product catalogs like fast fashion.
Poloriz is increasing conversion rate, average order value, mobile revenue, and time on page, as well as engagement with content. This works simply because of the increased discoverability of your products by using their tool to engage the user and get them swiping and engaging with content.
Typically your head of eCommerce, head of marketing, marketing specialist, or even you as the solo founder, are going to be onboarding into the tool. You don’t need a developer at all, just simply some design adjustments (brand colors, etc.). You can be up and running in a few minutes to a couple of hours, and their team will also set up custom onboarding with you to make sure you are using their platform to its fullest.
You can come into the backend of the tool to pin stories, which can help with merchandising products that perhaps you want to sell out of, hot sellers, etc. This is optional as their platform will automatically optimize for conversion rate.
Most brands simply set and forget the content and let the algorithm create the content for them. But, if you want, you can adjust or optimize your pre-created stories, or create new ones for each product on the store. You can update images, sizing, add GIFs and images and copy to each story, etc. This will of course add time to your launch, or time to your monthly recurring work in the tool.
Poloriz is best for mid-sized, high growth, and enterprise brands with visually appealing products and content such as beauty, fashion, and home design... And other brands that use visual storytelling on social media or in other places. Put another way, if you get good engagement on Instagram or Snapchat, you will probably get great engagement on the site with Poloriz.
Poloriz is best for brands that need product discovery across multiple product lines and categories. So the higher your SKU count, the more valuable their platform will be. Starting at around 30 SKUs, I’d say.
Poloriz isn’t for small and starting stores, stores with one or two flagship products, renewable subscription brands are less of a fit (but discovery subscription brands can be a good fit), “boring” product categories like vacuum parts, hardware, or B2B eCommerce are not good fits.
