All about
Audiencer is a research tool that helps you better understand Facebook interests and audiences. And they’ve built an honestly better version of the Facebook audience targeting tool. They’ve taken Facebook's existing audience generation tool and layered in their own algorithm to create over 2,000 unique audience niche’s. So if you’re in the dog industry, you can target dogs, pug dog owners, PetSmart customers, dog breeders, etc. The granularity can really improve your targeting on Facebook, and therefore improve your Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
You simply search on their tool to find the best audiences, maybe get some suggestions from them on other interests and categories, then, when you’re ready, you copy paste those results from their tool into your Facebook audience creation tool and hit enter, and that will create the targeted audience you’re looking for.
Agencies can create different projects for different client accounts. Or retailers and Ecommerce media buyers can create different projects for different categories, brands, or properties.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Audiencer is much easier to use than Facebook’s audience builder tool. It makes audience searching more visual and allows cross-referencing by various categories and niches. For example, if you want to target dog breeders, their algorithm will help you find the audiences specific to being used by dog breeders as opposed to dog owners.
Audiencer is specifically working to improve your Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) by giving you better targeting options. They will also save your media buyer time in organizing their audiences.
Audiencer is used most by agencies serving multiple clients, but of course this can be used as an internal media buyer, head of marketing, or solo founder. You simply login to the free tool and can begin searching immediately. If you go over 10 searches and need more, you need to upgrade to the paid plan. Once you’ve done your research and saved your audiences, you copy and paste them into Facebook ads, finish the rest of your usual advertising process - creative, offer, etc. - and are off and running with your campaign using Audiencer-driven interest targeting.
To need Audiencer, you need to be:
- Serving a niche audience of over 2mm consumers.
- Running Facebook ads to cold traffic.
- Spending typically at least $1,000 a month in cold traffic ad spend.
As ad spend goes up you should consider using Audiencer even more.
If you are targeting new audiences, or if look-a-likes start underperforming, you may want to use Audiencer to generate some new segments to target.
For agencies, Audiencer is mainly used in 2 scenarios by an agency, 1. When you need to do targeting research for a new client or 2. When a client wants to target a new demographic, such as when your look-a-likes aren’t performing as well as you think they should.
