All about
Wigzo is an omnichannel marketing automation and personalization platform that helps Ecommerce merchants close more sales and keep more customers. They work across these channels:
- SMS
- Facebook Messenger
- Web Push
- On-Site Pop Up / Notification
- (Coming Soon) Live Chat
The platform comes with an array of templates to easily get up and running, and they automatically create over 30 segments of your audience for easy targeting - segments like “High Average Order Value (AOV),” “Low AOV,” “Abandoned Cart,” “Recently Purchased,” etc.
Their reporting dashboards are quite robust, combining Google Analytics data and Shopify data to give you a strong view of revenue vs cost of goods sold, or new customers vs existing, or sales by channel, sales by product and channel, etc.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
They have very strong channel and tool integrations. Meaning, their pop-ups are great and are often some of the highest performing channels for their customers. And because they do the channel automation - email, browser, sms, etc - on top of the pop-ups, they are able to send well-timed and well-targeted messages to users that fill in those pop-ups, which makes these pop-ups convert at 4%+, which is really strong.
Their magic link - which is an SMS or WhatsApp opt-in link - is a really powerful way to increase subscribers and it’s tough to do, not a lot of other marketing automation platforms do this, especially for WhatsApp.
Their smart block technology allows you to create personalized blocks and add them into an email, a text, or a message.
They give free consults to their larger customers to ensure they are setup and running at full speed with the platform.
This platform will increase your revenue, pure and simple, and they do that through the channel automations, segmentation, personalization, and strong on-site notification and data collection tools/strategies.
Some important metrics to track are:
- Total subscribers
- Visitor to subscriber conversion rate
- Revenue per message
- Pop up / notification conversion rate
You can import from other Email Service Providers to get your data synced up. You also sync up your Shopify or WooCommerce or Magento or what have you, and then you have a laborious process of creating or migrating your marketing automation - email drip sequences, sms abandoned cart campaigns, on-site notifications, etc. This can take hours, even weeks, and will likely be an ongoing process for optimizing, testing, and improving.
When you send messages, your users may naturally respond, which is why you integrate this with Gorgias - your eCommerce helpdesk - and they will pipe all responses into your helpdesk, and then your team can easily respond and engage.
Wigzo is great for larger merchants who have a dedicated and relatively advanced marketer who can manage the platform. Someone who understands email automations, headline optimization, notification timings, post-purchase sequences, etc. If you have the smarts, this is the tool that can maximize the return on those smarts. But it honestly a beast of a platform, it’s so robust, you need to dedicate a lot of time to it, and really think through the process and strategy for nudging users towards becoming customers, nudging customers to buy again, and integrating that all with your advertising strategy and other marketing strategies like influencer and affiliate, which Wigzo will not cover for you in-platform.
Wigzo is not for basic stores, or those with little to no marketing expertise. You will bite off more than you can chew, and while the platform could benefit you greatly if you get everything setup perfectly, you’re likely better off with a simpler solution until the day you can graduate to a tool like Wigzo.
